I just happened to be in Lower Manhattan on this night and wanted to locate a cool HDR picture of something I pass all the time, but never took the opportunity to capture it… I was thinking of something in Chinatown, Frank Gehry building (8 Spruce Street) or the NYC Supreme Court building. Then I remember that the Manhattan Municipal Building had these really cool ceilings, which should be perfect for an HDR image.
Initially, I was trying to get a really cool low angle shot that also included the full-length view of the Frank Gehry building, but that was not a feasible shot. So, I ended up with the above photo shot towards the rear of the MMB with a small glimpse of the Frank Gehry building off to the left.
