    High Line View Looking Northeast

A quick post using the new Photomatix Pro 5 and contrast optimizer setting on an image from the High Line in New York City… As we all know, working with daytime blue skies and HDR can be challenging, but I wanted to give it a try on this image because of the unique building architecture and blue windows. I opted to mask in the sky using Photoshop CS6 from the normal exposure photo. So far the new Photomatix Pro 5 has been working out just fine on photos.

    Technical Information: ISO 100, 28mm, F8.0, [1/200 + 1/800 + 1/50 sec]

Post-processing information: Lightroom 5 Adjustments, Photomatix Pro 5, Topaz DeNoise, OnOne Perfect Effects 8 Beta 3 and Topaz Detail.
