On a quick turnaround trip from New York City to Chicago. I decided not to take any photo equipment with me. I’ll take photos with my iPhone 6 Plus only. Since it was pretty early, might as well start taking photos at Millennium Park… Maybe it would be possible to get a photo of the Cloudgate with no people around.Well, the park was pretty empty, so an image of the Cloudgate was doable with only two or three people around. That’s a first! Next up was Jay Pritzker Pavilion, also empty. The last time I was here, they had a summer concert and this area was fully packed.
After Millennium Park, it was time to head up Michigan Ave. I wanted to get a photo from the top floor of the recently opened Uniqlo store. They have a huge window facing South down Michigan Ave. This would be a new experience over the John Hancock Center or Chicago Skydeck, plus it was free. The view was an awesome city view. Well, that’s pretty much it. Time to make a couple more stops and back to the airport.
