The Google+ 2 Year Anniversary Photowalk was held on June, 29th, 2013 in New York City and around the world. In the Big Apple, the meeting place was at Columbus Park in Chinatown (Soccer Field on Baxter Street side)…
Our host for the day was Pro Photographer Alan Shapiro & SmugMug Community Manager Michael Bonocore along with Brain Matiash Community Manager for Google+ Photos.
We started off our journey by taking a group shot and prizes being given out by various sponsors. Next, we headed off through Columbus Park, which was really great because it was fully packed with people playing Xiangqi, or Chinese chess (made for great photo ops). Alan then led us down past City Hall and across Brooklyn Bridge. Unfortunately, due to prior commitments. I needed to leave once we reached the base of the Brooklyn Bridge on the Manhattan side. All in all, it was a really great Photowalk with like-minded photographers. To see more awesome photos from other G-Plussers who attend the NYC Photowalk click here.
